Fasque Castle Wedding Photographer
The sun came out for this Fasque Castle wedding. Michaela and Andy chose this top Scottish country house wedding venue to host a fabulous day for their family and friends. This lovely couple, rather unusually, met each other on LinkedIn! Their relationship blossomed and it wasn’t long before Andy proposed and they were making wedding plans.
Fasque had everything that they had dreamed of. This 400 acre estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland is steeped in history. You first view the castle as you drive up the tree lined drive, past the herd of deer that roam freely on the grassland.
My morning started by documenting Michaela and her bridesmaids preps. With four bridesmaids to get ready it was an early start for the hair stylist and make-up artists.
Michaela and her bridesmaids were joined by her Mum and Gran who helped them all get ready. I loved her Pronovias wedding dress and Badgley Mischka wedding shoes. Everything that Michaela and Andy had chosen for their day was stylish and elegant.
Michaela’s Dad was speechless when he saw his beautiful daughter in her wedding dress. Such a beautiful moment in the day.
I caught up with Andy before the ceremony. He was out on the lawn enjoying the good weather with his bestmen and ushers. He looked fabulous in his kilt.
The excitement was growing as guests started arriving and taking their seats in the main hall. At half past one o’clock Michaela walked down the aisle on her proud Dad’s arm. She looked gorgeous and Andy’s had such a huge smile on his face when he saw her.
The Humanist ceremony was conducted by the very lovely Vanessa and after they had been pronounced husband and wife they had their first kiss and then signed the register. They were piped back down they aisle and into the sunshine.
The guests enjoyed champagne and canapes one the lawn while we took some relaxed photographs. I love a big bridal party. There were two bestmen, two ushers all in kilts and three bridesmaids who wore teal coloured Ghost dresses. The grounds at Fasque are perfect with so many spots for great photographs.
After speeches and the wedding breakfast there was more time for guests to mingle before the band started. It was quite a party! Everyone looked like they were having an amazing time.
Please leave a message below for Michaela and Andy as I know they are looking forward to reading them (in the comments section after all the photos).
