Fingask Castle Wedding Photography
Katie & Luke
Katie and Luke’s wedding at Fingask castle was truly amazing. The castle is a splendid place to be married. There are so many spots for great photographs. There’s topiary trees, quirky statues and a wonderful view. They are such a lovely couple with a great group of family and friends. The April weather was as good as any summer’s day and guest enjoyed their drinks reception in the wonderful gardens.
Started photographing in the morning while Katie and her bridesmaid and best boy were getting ready in the bridal suite. Kirsty was doing a great job with their hair and make-up.
The flowers arrived from Amy Annand. They were gorgeous! The bridal bouquets had shades of lilac with anemones, roses and Scottish thistles, just perfect to complement her elegant dress.
There’s not many brides can say that they were walked down the aisle by their Dad and then married by their Dad. I did wonder how that was going to work but it was seamless. It was really lovely to witness a Father marrying his daughter to the love of her life.
Luke really suited his wedding outfit. He wore a subtly checked blue suit and looked every bit the handsome groom.
We had great fun taking some lovely couple photos join the grounds and then in the evening before the dancing I was able to use the twinkling fairy lights in the pavillion to get some lovely evening photos
Here’s my favourite photos from their day.
