Forbes of Kingennie Wedding Photography
A Woodland Wedding
Joanna & Matt
Forbes Kingennie wedding photos are always special but I really enjoyed photographing Joanna and Matt’s wedding day.
I started my day at Joanna’s parents house in Brechin. It was the home where Joanna had always lived and there was so many photos on the walls of Joanna and her sister growing up.
This is a family who really value photography.
Kirsty Macpherson was on hand to do Joanna’s wedding hair and to put on her veil.
Her wedding dress was exquisite and she looked stunning in it.
Later I caught up with Matt and his groomsmen strolling around the Kingennie fishing pools.
They all looked very handsome in matching blue wedding suits.
Pale pink ties, brown brogues and pocket watches completed their look.
It’s a lovely change to photograph a groom in his wedding suit as being a Scottish wedding photographer it’s usually all men in kilts.
Joanna and her Dad were driven to the wedding venue by a family friend.
They were both looking a little nervous as they arrived.
All nerves disappeared as her proud Father of the bride walked his beautiful daughter up the aisle to be married to Matt.
I had to pick my spot carefully as they walked down the aisle as so many guests were keen to get a picture!
It was a religious service and the hymn singing raised the roof.
I think the Welsh contingent helped.
It was an early ceremony which left plenty of time for photographs.
Forbes of Kingennie has so many places to take great photos.
I had already photographed Joanna and Matt’s engagement (pre-wedding) photos at Kingennie.
It was lovely to then create some lovely romantic photos of them on their wedding day.
