What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

I request and keep data that I need to operate my business.
The information that you input into my online contact form will be collected and stored.
Information such as: name, address, telephone, email and basic details such a date and place of wedding.
If you do not subsequently book my services then this information will not be kept or used by me or any third party.
If you book one of my services then you will be asked to complete a form with the information that I need to carry out the work for you. Information such as: name, address, telephone, email and social media contacts. This information will be kept securely by Ally Stuart Photography but will only be used in future by Ally Stuart Photography and will not be passed to a third party.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
