Taypark House wedding photographer
I had the best day on Saturday photographing Fiona and Mark’s wedding at Taypark House. Their wedding preps, wedding ceremony and wedding reception were all at this fantastic Dundee wedding venue.
Wedding Preps at Taypark House
I spent the morning with Fiona while she got ready for her wedding day. She spent a very chilled morning with her bridemaid. With hair and make-up done to perfection, they sipped tea and champagne together. Relaxed, calm was the order of the day. The rooms at Taypark House are beautifully decorated and perfect for any bride getting on the morning of her wedding.
Fiona looked incredible as she slipped into her elegant Justin Alexander wedding dress.
Taypark House Wedding Ceremony
Finally we got some sunshine in Dundee. They were able to have their wedding ceremony outside in the gardens. Fiona was piped down the aisle in traditional Scottish style. Huge smiles all round from Mark and their guests as she made her entrance.
They are a very relaxed couple who didn’t want a huge amount of fuss on their day. A simple ceremony performed by one of the lovely Dundee registers, a first kiss and exchange of rings was all that was needed, before walking out hand in hand to enjoy the best day of their lives with their family and friends. Small, intimate weddings are great. With just over 40 guests they were able to chat to everyone.
Taypark House Wedding Reception
Taypark House has a beautiful garden with a terrace overlooking the River Tay. My documentary approach to wedding photography means that there is no need for anyone to miss out on the drinks reception.
Mark and Fiona’s guests all had such a great time. You can tell by the smiles on their faces.
If you like my natural style then you might enjoy looking at this wedding at Taypark House. If you’re planning your own wedding and don’t want to pose for photos on your wedding day then I’d love to hear from you.
