Westpark Wedding Photography | Terri & Ryan
A stylish wedding production at Westpark
The beginning of March and I headed to a stylish wedding venue in Dundee’s trendy West End. Westpark is a stunnning mansion house in leafy gardens in a great little city.
Hair and makeup were provided by a hilarious duo and we all spent a fun morning with Terri as she got ready with her Mum and her bridesmaids.
Laughs and smiles and tears all just asking to be photographed and perfect material for my documentary style.
It started of sunny and then the heavens opened but that’s a Scottish wedding for you. We braved the showers and managed to get photos in natural light.

Terri and Ryan are big fans of musical theatre and at the beginning of March they put on their greatest show. Their wedding!
The stage was Westpark Centre in Dundee and the supporting cast were their amazing families and friends.
A guest appearance from Gary Smith who played the jolly humanist. He took his role very seriously and joined in with a dance as Terri and Ryan danced back up the aisle as husband and wife. It was a fabulous wedding full of laughs and tears ( mainly from Ryan ). Gary did a brilliant job with writing the perfect ceremony that told the story of Terri and Ryan’s road to true love and marriage. The speeches from Ryan, father of the bride and from the best man Neil were all very moving and funny. The bridesmaids( a Mum and daughter duo ) looked fabulous in their long green dresses.
Terri was every inch the stunning bride. She looked utterly beautiful in a Maggie Sottero dress. Her Mum attached her veil to complete her look. There was a beautiful moment just before the ceremony when Terri surprised her Dad with a present of personalised cuff links. What a proud Dad as he walked his stylish daughter down the aisle. Ryan was waiting for her with his best man Neil by his side.
After the ceremony we dodged the rain to take some family photos and of course, romantic photos of the new Mr and Mrs.
I had photographed Ryan’s sister wedding and so I’d met some of the family before. It’s always such an honour to be asked back to photograph another wedding.
Here’s how I saw their day unfold.
